About the Role
This position is responsible for driving sales through relationships with independent insurance agents, delivering expert product guidance, and ensuring accurate policy placements to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for independent insurance agents
- Provide detailed information about insurance products and coverage options
- Assist agents with quoting and policy placement processes
- Respond promptly to agent inquiries via phone and email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokerage partners
- Identify opportunities to expand product adoption among agents
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to resolve complex cases
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of applications
- Stay current on product updates and underwriting guidelines
- Support agents during peak selling periods and storm seasons
- Track and report on sales activities and outcomes
- Meet or exceed individual performance targets
- Educate agents on changes in policy terms or eligibility
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competition
- Promote new product features and enhancements
- Troubleshoot issues related to agent submissions
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new brokerage partners
- Coordinate with internal teams to improve agent experience
- Use CRM tools to log interactions and manage follow-ups
- Conduct regular check-ins with assigned agent portfolios
- Support the execution of targeted outreach campaigns
- Provide feedback to product teams based on agent input
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Escalate technical or underwriting concerns appropriately
- Contribute to team meetings and training initiatives
