Kin Insurance is looking for an Insurance Sales Representative for the 11am–8pm CST shift. You will be responsible for connecting with homeowners to deliver expert consultation on their insurance needs, focusing on closing sales and building lasting relationships. You’ll handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and text, leveraging company-provided leads to drive sales and ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
- Exceed sales targets by building strong relationships and applying effective sales techniques.
- Showcase insurance product benefits, address customer questions, and deliver exceptional service.
- Maximize sales potential by leveraging company-provided leads and consistently following up through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with underwriters and customer service reps to ensure a smooth experience from inquiry to policy issuance.
- Simplify complex insurance jargon and educate customers on coverage options to protect their homes.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 months of homeowners insurance experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Active P&C licensure within your current state of residence.
- Outstanding communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and gain trust.
- Proven track record as a closer with strong negotiation skills and history of exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented focus and passion for hitting sales goals.
- Ability to adhere to metrics, schedules, and training protocols while juggling multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and telephone software, with ability to use multiple platforms simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Call center experience.
- Previous insurance sales experience if license and CE are maintained, or a strong sales background from other industries.
- Licensed in California and/or Surplus Lines License.
