Work as a key point of contact for policyholders in a structured, remote customer service role that prioritizes accuracy, responsiveness, and long-term client satisfaction. You'll manage complex inquiries, support policy changes, and ensure all actions align with regulatory and internal compliance standards, all while maintaining a secure and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries efficiently and professionally, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution within a high-volume contact center setting
- Support policy maintenance and updates while identifying appropriate product opportunities based on customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated cases and improve service continuity
- Meet performance benchmarks consistently while adapting to shifting priorities
- Participate in virtual training and team meetings during onboarding and beyond
- Maintain availability across varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days (training and fees provided)
- Fluency in Spanish required for bilingual queue assignment (assessment administered)
- Proven ability to multitask, type efficiently, and communicate clearly via phone and digital platforms
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and professional conduct
- Reliable, distraction-free home workspace with stable internet connection meeting minimum technical requirements
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Work Environment
This is a remote position requiring residency within 80 miles of Houston, TX. Initial training is fully virtual. After onboarding, schedules are assigned based on operational needs, with shifts falling between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. CT, including one weekend day and one weekday off per week.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $20.51 to $24.13 per hour, with an additional $0.50/hour premium for verified English/Spanish fluency.
