Spartanburg Community College is hiring an Insurance Agent Pre-Licensing Instructor to lead students toward successful insurance careers. You will instruct comprehensive courses preparing individuals for the state Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Producer Licensing Examinations, equipping them to meet state requirements and enter fields like sales, underwriting support, or agency operations.
What You'll Do
- Teach adult learners in classroom and/or virtual settings.
- Instruct on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance fundamentals, policies, coverages, state laws, and producer responsibilities.
- Instruct on Life & Health insurance products, annuities, health insurance plans, group benefits, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- An active South Carolina Insurance Producer License in the applicable line(s) of authority.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of professional insurance industry experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
