Role Overview
As an Instrument Sales Account Manager, you will drive revenue and expand market presence across diverse customer segments in the Munster region of Ireland. Your focus will be on selling advanced analytical technologies—including chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry systems—by aligning solutions with customer challenges and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales quotas through accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat engagement
- Identify new business opportunities by demonstrating innovative product offerings and staying ahead of market trends
- Collaborate with key decision-makers and technical influencers to strengthen Agilent’s position in the environmental sector
- Translate customer requirements into tailored solutions for complex analytical challenges
- Work closely with internal teams including consumables, service delivery, service sales, and customer operations
- Partner with field sales and marketing to execute targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and adhere to financial and operational reporting standards
- Demonstrate core company values such as integrity, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a university degree in a relevant scientific or technical field. Prior experience selling scientific instruments or laboratory solutions—particularly within the Irish market—is essential. Familiarity with chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy in a lab context is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels. Candidates must possess a valid Irish driver’s license and fluency in English.

Work Environment
