ALDO Group is hiring an Instructor, Electrical to conduct initial and continuing training programs for Electrical Maintenance technicians. This role works closely with department personnel to identify performance gaps and develop effective training solutions within a nuclear industry context.
What You’ll Do
- Develop instructional materials and conduct training for Electrical Maintenance technicians.
- Maintain training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Ensure the accredited Electrical Maintenance training program and instructional materials are kept current by incorporating plant changes.
- Maintain knowledge of plant operational conditions to support the analysis, design, and development of high-quality training materials.
- Conduct trainee evaluations in various training settings, including classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job training.
- Support station business initiatives, refueling outages, Emergency Planning duties, and other projects.
- Participate in instructional continuing training and management assessments.
- Ensure training records are complete, accurate, and auditable.
- Demonstrate leadership by upholding high standards in all training settings.
What We’re Looking For
- A High School diploma or equivalent, or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in science, technology, engineering (electrical), mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Four years of nuclear (preferable) or other related industry work experience.
- Technical proficiency in the assigned area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Four years of electrical maintenance-related instructional experience (commercial or military) OR an Electrical trade or technical schooling certificate.
Nice to Have
- Nuclear industry work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design theory (SAT/TSD).
