About the Role
The role involves managing installation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring all systems are correctly installed, tested, and handed over according to client and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems
- Interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Conduct site surveys and pre-installation assessments
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation phases
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities and progress
- Perform quality checks and system testing
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements
- Provide technical guidance to support staff
- Adhere to environmental and regulatory standards
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials on site
- Deliver handover documentation and client training
- Respond to post-installation service requests
- Work in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend project meetings and progress reviews
- Follow risk assessment protocols
- Ensure clean and organized work areas
- Report project status and issues to supervisors
