The Inside Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting GE Vernova’s HV Grid Solutions commercial team by managing tendering and proposal activities, preparing competitive offers, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal stakeholders. This position ensures compliant, accurate proposals and facilitates smooth project handovers for timely execution.
What You'll Do
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation for HV GIS, AIS, Transformers, and HV Services.
- Manage customer inquiries, provide clarifications, and support Sales Managers during the offer phase.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, and Legal to deliver complete and compliant offers.
- Ensure accurate pricing, deal structure, and adherence to GE Vernova DOA and commercial governance.
- Execute structured project handover to Operations and ensure readiness for on-time project start.
- Maintain CRM/tendering tools and support continuous improvement through Lean practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or/and Electromechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, tendering, proposals, sales support and/or sales operations or relevant domains.
- Proficiency in English
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA and Bahrain without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of HV electrical equipment or substation projects (training provided).
- Fluency in French and Arabic language
- Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
- Customer-centric mindset with willingness to learn and grow within the Commercial organization.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or tendering systems is an advantage.
