About the Role

Viatris is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to develop strategic business plans, achieve sales goals, and build strong customer relationships within the pharmaceutical industry. You will play a key role in our mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.

What You'll Do

  • Develop strategic business plans for your assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicator expectations while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals with aligned targets.
  • Develop a pre-call strategy for aligned targets.
  • Demonstrate success in influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Learn and apply in-depth product knowledge, including relevant disease states, and effectively communicate this to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, coworkers, and colleagues across different teams and leadership levels.
  • Effectively utilize software platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and CRM software to complete daily tasks.
  • Proactively pursue continuous learning and professional development on sales impact, communication, and product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent listening and comprehension abilities.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Nice to Have

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of professional sales, territory management, and marketing of pharmaceutical products.
