Woodgrain, a family-owned building materials company, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support branch sales efforts and ensure the successful execution of sales plans. In this role, you will sell, quote, and promote our building materials program while maintaining prompt and accurate communication with our customers.
What You'll Do
- Convert inbound customer inquiries into actual sales.
- Overcome technical and business objections from prospective customers.
- Emphasize product features, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.
- Make outbound sales calls based on activity plans from management.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Estimate delivery dates based on product knowledge, production, and delivery schedules.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems, including warranty service.
- Update customers on any changes to promised delivery dates.
- Enter new customer data and update current customer information in the database.
- Communicate with buyers regarding product shortages or quality issues.
- Comply with all required company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of related sales experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
