At H.B. Fuller, we are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager - German Speaker to drive growth within a designated territory. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business by providing exceptional service and acting as a trusted partner. You will proactively direct customer opportunities to the appropriate internal teams to meet their needs.
What You'll Do
- Execute 20-30 outbound calls each day.
- Record all customer conversations and update opportunities in the CRM.
- Meet targeted levels of customer meetings.
- Manage sales at existing accounts and develop new business.
- Ensure customers view H.B. Fuller as a partner through professional sales representation and excellent service.
- Gain customer support by engaging in technical discussions to determine requirements and exploring solutions.
- Influence and align with external and internal key decision makers at all organizational levels.
- Identify, develop, and close new business using tools like LinkedIn for cold calling, market research, and lead sourcing.
- Determine business requirements and expectations through verbal and written communication.
- Identify decision-makers and influencers to develop relationships.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional sales experience, driving new business with multiple technical product lines.
- Flawless English and German language ability with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to influence via phone, identify and gain access to decision makers, and develop and close sales.
- Proven ability to sell at all levels within organizations.
- Experience working independently and in a team environment.
- Well-organized, process and data-driven, with a track record of producing accurate and timely reports.
Nice to Have
- Preferably experience in the industrial chemical industry.
- Spanish, French, or Portuguese language skills are a strong plus.
