Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is looking for an Inpatient Medical Facility Coder to review medical records for a facility in Temple, TX. In this role, you will ensure accurate billing and compliance while supporting optimal patient care and working closely with healthcare providers.
What You'll Do
- Review and code inpatient medical records
- Work with healthcare providers to clarify documentation
- Ensure accurate billing and compliance with regulatory guidelines
What We're Looking For
- At least one credential: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC
- At least three (3) years of inpatient coding experience in a hospital or medical facility
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments
- Effective communication skills to interact with physicians and clinical staff
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and encoder tools
- Knowledge of outpatient coding is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field (preferred)
