UASI is hiring an Inpatient Coding Auditor

Responsibilities

  • Audit inpatient coding for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review medical records and coding documentation.
  • Identify and report coding errors and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with coding teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and standards.
  • Provide feedback to coding staff on performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of audits and findings.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Assist in the development of coding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement of coding processes.
  • Support the implementation of coding best practices.
  • Monitor coding trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Work with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
  • Stay updated with changes in coding regulations.
  • Prepare reports on audit findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
