Brink is seeking a strategic Innovation Lead to build and drive its presence and impact in Rwanda. You will shape country strategy, nurture key relationships, steer programme delivery, and represent Brink as a credible innovation partner.
What You'll Do
- Own and implement Brink Rwanda strategy across programmes, partnerships, and operations.
- Own delivery of work on programmes in Rwanda: Hanga SRH, GoMuhazi, and Isano Lodge.
- Liaise with and own client relationships, defining roles within teams.
- Build and nurture relationships across government, funders, innovators, and ecosystem players.
- Run Innovation Dinners and other flagship events to strengthen convening power and grow pipeline.
- Support and grow the local Brink team, ensuring they thrive and deliver.
- Represent Brink in national and regional conversations on innovation and social impact, and sector events on education, health, and climate.
- Potentially transition to Managing Director of Brink Rwanda Ltd, overseeing legal, financial, and operational delivery.
- Support other innovation projects across Brink Group as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Strategic thinker with experience leading teams, programmes, or organisations in innovation or social impact.
- Understanding of innovation methodology, venture building, and collectives.
- Strong networks in Rwanda and ability to build trust with diverse partners like funders and government.
- Love convening, public speaking, and developing new relationships.
- Operationally savvy, confidently managing compliance, finances, and delivery.
- Excited to help grow something new and ready to roll up sleeves.
- Care about making innovation more inclusive, locally grounded, and globally connected.
Team & Environment
You will lead Brink Rwanda and support and grow the local team.
Compensation
- Salary: 110,000,000 RWF per annum.

This is a local-country position based in Rwanda.
