Nira Medical is hiring an Infusion Coordinator – Neurology (Tampa / Clearwater - HYBRID)

About the Role

The Infusion Coordinator will manage patient infusion schedules, coordinate care with medical providers, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols in a neurology-focused practice.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate infusion appointments for neurology patients across multiple locations
  • Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage for infusion therapies
  • Communicate with healthcare providers to confirm treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health systems
  • Monitor patient progress throughout the infusion cycle
  • Address patient inquiries regarding infusion procedures and scheduling
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to treatment
  • Collaborate with pharmacy teams to arrange medication delivery
  • Educate patients on infusion protocols and potential side effects
  • Track infusion outcomes and report adverse events
  • Support quality assurance initiatives related to infusion services
  • Assist in onboarding new patients to the infusion program
  • Coordinate with billing staff to ensure accurate claims submission
  • Follow up with patients post-infusion for feedback and recovery status
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings to improve patient care workflows
  • Respond to provider requests for changes in infusion schedules
  • Manage patient consent forms and treatment authorizations
  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and optimize clinic capacity
  • Provide administrative support for clinical staff during infusion days
