PGTEK is hiring an Infrastructure Migration Engineer to design, implement, and support sophisticated data migration and protection strategies. This remote-first role requires an active Secret Security Clearance and involves approximately 20% travel to customer sites across the continental U.S.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and support complex data migration and protection strategies
- Collaborate with technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
- Ability to travel 20% throughout the year within the continental U.S.
- Extensive experience with VMware, including dependency mapping and planning/execution of virtual machine (VM) migrations
- Proficiency with disaster recovery and data protection platforms: Zerto, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault
- Strong foundational understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with experience engaging both virtually and in person
