Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters with attention to sizing, high availability, automated setup, and identity access management
- Administer software-defined networking and container network interface solutions such as Calico and Cilium
- Set up and maintain backup and restore mechanisms for Kubernetes environments using tools like Velero
- Manage persistent storage through distributed systems including CEPH and Portworx
- Integrate and configure CI/CD pipelines using Kustomize and ArgoCD for declarative deployments
- Work with multiple teams to establish and maintain platform-wide operational and security standards
- Assist project groups in transitioning applications to containerized platforms
- Contribute to long-term planning and technical decision-making for infrastructure evolution
