Join the CMA CGM Group as an Infrastructure Engineer, where you'll play a key role in managing and evolving our UK IT infrastructure. You will proactively configure and administer the UK VMware Server Infrastructure, provide L2/L3 support, and offer technical guidance to the UK IT support team. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain servers in a Virtual Environment.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to ensure smooth IT operations across multiple client environments.
- Support and maintain the cloud environment for application servers.
- Pro-actively monitor and administrate the Server Infrastructure and Virtual Environment.
- Manage and support the Active Directory environment for the UK & Ireland.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and implement system upgrades, migrations, and new technologies.
- Document technical processes, best practices, and IT procedures to ensure efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT projects.
- Support and maintain the DR / Backup Infrastructure, including daily checks and testing DR processes.
- Adhere to corporate IT security standards.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2019 / 2022 and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Proven experience with VMware Environments and virtual environments (VMware and Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of NAS storage environments.
- Knowledge of Cloud computing (AWS / Azure).
- Experience with Active Directory / DNS / DHCP.
- Knowledge of backup and snapshot technologies.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Proactively drives innovation and stays ahead of emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Veeam backup solution.
- AWS cloud computing experience is advantageous.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the UK IT team, which is part of a larger Europe Regional IT team. This role may require occasional travel within the UK and Europe.
