Solventum is hiring an Infection Prevention Specialist, Peri Op for the New York, NY territory. In this sales role, you will drive sustainable business growth by supporting customers, building strong relationships, and leveraging data analytics. What You'll Do
- Manage a sales territory focused on customer support, growth, and cultivating strong relationships.
- Use data and analytics to inform business planning and strategy.
- Complete essential business planning requirements and maintain sales call data in Salesforce.com.
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities and constraints.
- Leverage hospital networks and contacts to identify expansion and conversion opportunities.
- Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Manage relationships with key clinical and economic decision-makers.
- Increase the mix of New Product Introduction (NPI) utilization.
- Collaborate with channel and distribution partners to align on tactics and programs.
- Provide ongoing in-service, education, technical support, and troubleshooting for products.
- Leverage publications and industry guidelines to influence product adoption and standardization.
- Drive contract compliance and identify standardization opportunities.
- Support conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment OR a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of such experience.
- A strong understanding of clinical value drivers in the operating room and across other sites of care.
- A current and valid driver’s license.

- Customer-focused selling and closing skills.
- Demonstrated experience establishing strong relationships with key clinical influencers, such as surgeons.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
- Industry affiliations, such as a local AORN or APIC chapter.
- A proven track record of quota and target attainment.
- Proven experience in territory management and business planning.
- Operating room or peri-op sales experience with complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Experience collaborating with distribution channel partners.
- Prior medical device or operating room sales or clinical experience.

- Compensation: $141,775 - $173,280
