Role Overview
As an Independent Sales Representative in the Golf Division, you will lead sales efforts in the West Palm Beach, FL area, focusing on the green grass segment of the golf market. This remote independent contractor role centers on cultivating long-term relationships with golf retailers and pro shops, expanding brand presence, and delivering consistent revenue growth for a premium apparel brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales execution across your assigned territory through proactive outreach and ongoing client engagement
- Strengthen partnerships via regular in-person visits, product demonstrations, and participation in local events
- Deliver product training to retail teams on current and upcoming collections, emphasizing brand value and unique features
- Support store-level success by advising on visual presentation and inventory planning
- Represent the brand at regional trade shows and industry events, including coordination of display setups
- Attend national events such as the PGA Show when required
- Identify and convert new retail accounts that align with brand standards and market strategy
- Propose and implement branded shop-in-shop displays or tournament activations to enhance visibility
- Track performance metrics and deliver regular updates to leadership, including sales data and customer feedback
- Contribute to the overall growth and culture of the organization through initiative and accountability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree combined with experience in golf, retail sales, or a related field
- Established network of contacts among golf buyers and retail decision-makers in the territory
- Must reside within the West Palm Beach, FL area
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Forms is an advantage
Work Environment
This is a remote independent contractor position based in West Palm Beach, FL. You will operate autonomously while maintaining close alignment with the regional leadership team. Regular travel within the territory and to select industry events is expected.
