About the Role

Sakura Finetek Europe BV is looking for an Implementation Consultant for Histology Solutions to bring our automation solutions into daily practice at customer sites. In this role, you will guide implementation projects to ensure systems are delivered, installed, and ready for use, contributing to our mission of advancing cancer diagnosis through fully automated anatomic pathology.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the implementation of SMART Automation solutions at customer sites, from preparation through go-live.
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate activities between technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Act as the main contact for customers and internal teams during implementation projects.
  • Deliver on-site training, workshops, and hands-on support to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Monitor progress, address issues, and adjust plans to keep projects on track.
  • Deliver agreed project objectives and measurable implementation results.
  • Keep up to date with developments in automation technology and pathology workflows and apply this knowledge in projects.
  • Support implementations in other parts of Europe from time to time.

What We're Looking For

  • A medical or science-related education, preferably focused on laboratory medicine.
  • Experience with implementation projects and change management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50–80%).
  • Clear and effective communication skills for working with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to guide and motivate users and project teams during implementations.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented approach, able to adapt to changing project situations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Confident presentation and training skills.
  • German language proficiency.

Nice to Have

  • Preferably 5 years of hands-on experience in a pathology laboratory.
  • Good verbal and written command of English and Polish.
