Movement Strategy is looking for an Accounting Sr Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond transactional accounting to own end-to-end processes for assigned areas, execute month-end close with autonomy, and ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, and audit-ready. We are a tech-led eCommerce group scaling our own globally loved DTC brands, and you'll help us scale our processes through automation and AI-enabled tools.

What You'll Do

Take full ownership of assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts, end to end
Prepare and maintain high-quality account reconciliations with strong analytical support
Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities accurately and on time
Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions
Manage assigned audit requests with minimal supervision
Prepare and support internal and external reporting requirements
Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and working papers
Actively contribute to process standardization, automation, and AI-driven improvements
Collaborate with Treasury, Payroll, FP&A, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting matters

What We're Looking For

4+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close
Strong experience with journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet & P&L reconciliations
Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Advanced Excel skills (pivots, reconciliations, variance analysis)
Strong understanding of close processes and internal controls
Ability to turn transactional data into meaningful financial insights
Comfort working with automation tools and AI-based assistants
