Paired is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team, supporting attorneys handling immigration cases for a US-based law firm. In this fully remote role, you will help clients navigate the complexities of immigration law while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation and submission of immigration petitions and applications.
- Conduct legal research and compile supporting documentation for immigration cases.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for ongoing cases.
- Engage with clients and government agencies to gather necessary information and provide case status updates.
- Draft legal documents, including forms, letters, and written submissions.
- Ensure all filings are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain sensitive client information.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or in a related field within a law firm environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US immigration law and processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient in legal research, case management, and document preparation.
- Experience working with immigration software and case management systems.
- A high degree of professionalism and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
