Pfizer is hiring an I&I Gastroenterology Area Business Manager based in Houston, TX. Reporting to the Regional Business Director (RBD), you will lead and supervise a team of 6-10 sales representatives, ensuring the sales performance of the business portfolio and compliant execution of strategies.
What You'll Do
- Supervise district operations including hiring, live and virtual coaching, representative development, performance management, and assignment of key 'priority' accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, business plans, and manage budgets at the district level.
- Plan, organize, and monitor performance to achieve the business potential of the district and RBU.
- Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends.
- Collaborate, identify, and motivate key account development and opportunities impacting regional/national business.
- Build relationships with customers (including KOLs) and key stakeholders and utilize content appropriately for engagement.
- Develop external advocates and contribute to advocacy and community engagement.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to deliver on customer needs while ensuring compliance guardrails are respected.
- Coach representatives on connecting cross-functional colleagues and using digital tools.
- Effectively plan and conduct meetings with District Management Teams, Channel Partners, and other cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing in the development of key strategies, business imperatives, and objectives during the Op Plan process.
- Retain flexible time management in a hybrid environment to maximize HCP engagement.
- Coach and counsel team members on improvement of performance, skill execution, product knowledge, and business plan development.
- Maintain visibility into planning of individual sales representatives.
- Ensure actions of self and team are fully compliant with all relevant policies and processes.
- Implement and uphold District Standards with sales colleagues.
- Apply situational leadership skills and employ multiple interactive methods of coaching across all engagement types.
- Build strong team culture, colleague engagement, and morale in a hybrid environment.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 3-5 years in a position with demonstrated leadership across peer and customer groups.
- Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $133,000 - $268,300
