The IDN Account Manager is responsible for leading and expanding market presence in the Chicago-Midwest territory, with a focus on hospital injectables, oncology, and integrated delivery networks. This position requires a driven sales professional experienced in managing complex accounts and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned accounts within the territory
- Develop a deep understanding of customer goals, market dynamics, and product offerings to deliver maximum value
- Expand company presence in injectable, oncology, IDN, and specialty markets
- Promote products professionally and efficiently to achieve sales targets
- Successfully complete required sales training programs
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and drive adherence across accounts
- Grow existing business relationships while identifying and developing new opportunities
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ongoing support
- Work closely with marketing, contracts, customer service, portfolio development, national accounts, and sales leadership
- Stay informed about competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy
- Provide regular internal updates on account progress and market developments
- Identify key customers and implement alternative strategies when needed
Requirements
- Must live in or near the Chicago metropolitan area
- Proven experience as an IDN Account Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding performance goals
- Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively within teams
