Culina Group is hiring a Hygiene Operative

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and surrounding outdoor areas at all times
  • Operate mechanical equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and forklifts in compliance with safety regulations
  • Identify and report any deviations from standard operating procedures
  • Support team efforts to maintain a hygienic and secure working environment
  • Safely clear debris from the warehouse floor during assigned shift
  • Collect and dispose of litter from both interior and exterior premises
  • Lead or assist in managing major spill clean-up operations as needed
  • Report equipment malfunctions or defects promptly
  • Demonstrate and encourage adherence to health and safety standards
  • Inspect cleaning machinery before and after use to ensure operational readiness
  • Proactively maintain a dry and clean warehouse floor without direct supervision
  • Accurately follow and execute instructions from shift supervisors
  • Notify shift management of any damage or spillage incidents
  • Empty, replace, and manage waste containers and large waste bins
  • Comply with the site's recycling policies and procedures

  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Nine-hour shifts with flexible start times
  • Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines when using cleaning or material handling equipment
  • Proper use of jet washer according to job operation procedures
  • Always park equipment in designated zones when not in use, including during breaks or shift end
  • Consistently treat company property with care and responsibility
