What You'll Do
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems used in telecom shelters at cell tower locations. Conduct routine performance evaluations and system checks to ensure optimal operation. Install, replace, or upgrade components as needed, including off-season servicing. Respond promptly to service requests, including emergency calls outside standard hours. Accurately document daily work activities and maintain compliance with vehicle operation standards while traveling independently across the region.
Requirements
- Hold valid Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification
- Minimum of three years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience, with preference given to commercial systems
- Ability to communicate clearly through spoken and written channels
- Willingness to participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations
- Compliance with OSHAFCC, FAA, and EPA regulations
- Successful completion of a DOT physical examination
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with core principles of electronics, mechanics, and electrical systems, particularly as they relate to refrigeration and climate control technology.
