About the Role

Johnson Controls is hiring a HVAC Account Representative to sell our building efficiency offerings and build long-term relationships with Director and Vice President-level building owners. In this remote role, you will focus on the North Central Minnesota region, positioning renewable service agreements as the foundation for helping customers achieve their business, operational, and environmental objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively and confidently to building owners at the Director level.
  • Focus on improving existing and new facilities to help building owners achieve their business objectives.
  • Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements.
  • Build partnering relationships with owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process.
  • Address customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements.
  • Differentiate Johnson Controls services and products from competitors through creativity and innovation.
  • Actively establish a 'mentee' relationship with a Senior Account Executive to enhance your development.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of one year of successful field sales experience.
  • At least one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry products.
  • A demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.

Work Mode

This is a remote position based in the North Central Minnesota region.
