The HV GIS Supervisor leads field operations for high-voltage GIS systems (110 kV–550 kV) in European transmission and sub-transmission networks. This role includes direct supervision of on-site teams, quality assurance, risk management, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership. Candidates must have strong field experience and leadership skills in high-voltage electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site installation activities for GIS systems in the 110 kV–550 kV range within transmission and sub-transmission networks
- Oversee and manage all on-site installation, maintenance, and repair operations
- Ensure quality standards are met through on-site inspections and execution of test procedures
- Identify project-specific risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Supervise, instruct, and coordinate all personnel and activities at project sites
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal project management teams
Requirements
- Electrical or mechanical qualification with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in GIS installation and commissioning
- Willingness to travel frequently, up to 80% across Europe
- Ability to work at heights, requiring good physical fitness
- Proven leadership skills and adaptability as a resilient team player
- Holding a valid work permit for Europe
