Hatch was looking for a Human Resources Business Partner

Hatch is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Brisbane office management and the broader HR team on personnel operations and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll be a key player in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with office leadership and the HR team on personnel operations including employee onboarding, employee relations, and leave management.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR to develop and implement initiatives focused on career development, inclusion, and workplace wellness.
  • Partner with assigned internal client groups to provide HR coaching and guidance to business, technical managers, and supervisors.
  • Support regional Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Participate in or lead regional or global HR initiatives such as recognition programs, committee work, and compliance for workplace violence and harassment.
  • Resolve issues related to HR regulations, laws, and policies.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HR regulations, practices, and the labour market.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships of trust with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
  • High level of computer proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Shared Services group (Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities) and report directly to the Human Resources Manager.
