The Ohio Attorney General's Office is hiring a Human Capital Management Analyst to provide comprehensive HR support to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). In this role, you will manage a wide range of human capital functions, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment and selection processes, including internal job bids, promotions, and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain adherence to EEO, ADA, and other regulatory requirements; assist with documentation, reporting, and investigations.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, outreach events, and community workforce initiatives.
- Assist with interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.
- Document grievances and support disciplinary processes.
- Prepare materials for labor-management meetings.
- Maintain and audit personnel records for the Warrensville Developmental Center.
- Prepare personnel actions and update/manage OAKS HCM data.
- Support compliance for licensure, certification, and credentialing.
- Submit IT tickets for onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Assist central office payroll with timesheet review, pay adjustments, and leave auditing.
- Support employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries related to retirement, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and disability programs.
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs by reviewing documentation, tracking entitlements, issuing required notices, coordinating return-to-work procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and employee training, including scheduling, materials preparation, facilitation, and recordkeeping.
- Conduct follow-up meetings with new or promoted employees.
- Participate in engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews and compile trend data to support organizational improvement.
- Provide cross-trained support across all HR functions to ensure continuity of services and effective HR operations.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in human resources.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business, or public administration.
- Or 1 year of experience as a Human Capital Management Associate (64611).
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
