Health Standards Organization (HSO) is looking for a professional to play a pivotal role in empowering health care and social service organizations across Africa to meet national and global standards. You will collaborate with HSO/AC teams and local stakeholders to co-develop and implement customized projects that reflect national priorities.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Ministries of Health, subnational health departments and regional institutions.
- Support the integration of quality standards into national health reforms and service delivery.
- Design and execute advisor and accreditation services tailored to local contexts.
- Strengthen institutional capacity and promote sustainable quality improvement.

- Expertise in healthcare quality, accreditation, and health systems strengthening.
- Expertise in regulatory assessments and intervention development.
- Keen interest in healthcare leadership and clinical excellence.
- Strong networks within national health systems or academic institutions.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and locally driven solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cultures and disciplines.
- Proficiency in English and French (writing and communication).
- Proficiency in technology including remote team management tools.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH).
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health programs and community health systems.
- Familiarity with donor-funded health programs and multilateral development initiatives.
- Knowledge of Accreditation Canada programs and accreditation processes is an asset.
