BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking an HR Technology Consultant to serve as a technical point-of-contact for HR Systems. You will troubleshoot problems, research solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and implement improvements.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a point-of-contact for technical HR System issues from the HR Service Unit and HR Business Users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and research solutions to improve system efficiencies.
- Assist with testing and implementing HR System upgrades or patches.
- Resolve system issues and perform scheduled activities and mass data loads.
- Collaborate with Business Users to capture and document requirements for HR System enhancements.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product development, delivery, and support.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment.
- 4 years of experience with HRIS system optimization.
- 2 years of project management experience with demonstrated skills and successes.
- Ability to design business processes and align systems to support customer needs.
- Proven hands-on experience with HRIS support, upgrades, integrations, or optimization.
- Examples of diagnosing issues and delivering solutions.
- Experience with stakeholder partnership, requirements translation, and influence.
- Demonstrated ability to take end-to-end responsibility and manage task-based work.
- A curiosity-driven, learning mindset and comfort with AI or change.

- Workday experience preferred, with emphasis on Employee Experience and Optimization.
