As an HR Specialist at G-P, you will serve as a key business partner to clients in the Employer of Record (EOR) industry, focusing primarily on Italy and supporting additional Southern European countries. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and act as a trusted in-country HR expert to support global workforce expansion.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience.
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases, attend calls or meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
- Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Stay ahead of labor laws and cultural nuances in Italy to provide actionable guidance.
- Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.
- Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure timely salary changes.
- Act as SPOC for employees’ immigration and mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
- Identify delegable tasks, document processes, and ensure smooth handover for efficiency.
- Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes.
- Lead efforts to standardize and improve HR practices globally.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Deep expertise in Italian labor laws
- Strong working knowledge of employment regulations in Southern Europe
- Deep expertise with Staff Leasing and Tertiary NCBA
- Experience supporting complex employee relations
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration tools like Zoom & Slack
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the EoR industry
- Experience working across other Southern European Countries including Greece

Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. For Full-Time Regular Employees: eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance; sales roles eligible for commission structure in addition to base salary.
