About the Role
The HR Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, handling day-to-day HR inquiries, supporting investigations, and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary contact for employee and management inquiries on HR-related matters
- Support employee relations by guiding disciplinary actions and performance management processes
- Assist in conducting workplace investigations with fairness and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies across all HR activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures for a smooth employee lifecycle
- Partner with HR team members to implement consistent HR practices
- Help administer leave programs, including FMLA and other statutory leaves
- Coordinate responses to employee concerns and help resolve workplace issues
- Assist in preparing reports for HR metrics and compliance audits
- Support training initiatives related to HR policies and employee development
- Promote a respectful and inclusive work environment
- Track and analyze HR data for process improvement opportunities
- Ensure consistent application of company policies across departments
- Collaborate with management on organizational changes and workforce planning
- Provide guidance on job classifications and position management
- Support compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations
- Help manage employee recognition and engagement efforts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments
- Assist in special HR projects as assigned by leadership
