Eaton Corporation is looking for an HR Services Assistant Talent Support to join our Caribbean HR Services team. In this role, you will provide critical support for recruitment administration, HR systems maintenance, and payroll processes, ensuring smooth operations for our Caribbean businesses.
What You'll Do
- Open, address, track, and close cases (tickets) in the HR Service Catalog system, responding to multiple requests from internal and external clients.
- Update employee information in HR systems, conduct audits, analysis, reports, and various calculations related to services, payroll, and employee processes.
- Support problem-solving such as tracking files, locating and removing archive material, providing information to authorized personnel, and offering guidance to employees at all levels.
- Monitor the proper functioning of HR systems including HR Services Catalog, Recruitment (ATS/SAP, EightFold), Payroll (HRMS/SPN), Time & Attendance, Kiosks, JOE, E-Star, Dashboards, the HR Services phone line, and MS Teams.
- Provide guidance and answer questions from employees on how to use HR tools, systems, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Process employment records and support activities within the Recruitment and Induction process.
- Conduct recruitment activities for hourly personnel, including pre-screening interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring teams, and providing related support.
- Process activities for employment reference verification, pre-employment assessments, employment certification confirmation, and other Pre-Employment (PHDD) and Pre-Induction (PONB) activities.
- Support the generation and reconciliation of monthly reports for month-end closing, and reports requested by clients.
- Compile files, keep them updated, and manage movements of physical and electronic personnel records.
- Attend all assigned Safety, Health, and Environmental training sessions.
- Comply with 5S/MESH requirements.
- Responsible for adhering to safety standards and policies established by Eaton.
What We're Looking For
- University student (at least 120 approved credits) in Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Communications, Systems, or related areas.
- Intermediate English language skills. Able to maintain a basic conversation.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in administrative support, clerical, or customer service areas.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of human resources systems and digital skills (payroll, recruitment, time & attendance, intranet, among others).
