Unknown Company is hiring a HR Organizational Development Internship- Summer 2026

About the Role

CNO Financial is looking for an HR Organizational Development Intern for Summer 2026. This paid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to play a key role in managing our summer intern program and promoting it across the company.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the intern program to ensure a positive and enriching experience for both in-person and remote summer interns.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote CNO's summer internship program both internally and externally.
  • Assist in organizing the Annual National Intern Day Event, coordinating with Senior Leadership Group speakers, and providing feedback to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Approach all tasks with a focus on our associates and interns while promoting overall well-being in the workplace.

What We're Looking For

  • Progress towards a bachelor's degree in business, management, HR, industrial psychology, or a related field.
  • Status as a rising junior or senior, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 13 weeks during the summer.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Housing in or near Carmel, IN or Indianapolis, IN, with the ability to work in the office 1-2 days per week.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or program management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities or projects.
  • Experience organizing and managing events or activities with peers.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with supervision.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with HR and other departments and report to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
