This is a remote position based in South Africa, supporting a US home care organization with strict compliance standards. The HR Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of employee records and ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee employee compliance files, including licenses, certifications, and mandatory paperwork
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively follow up with staff to collect updated documents
- Communicate regularly with caregivers via phone and email to obtain missing or renewed materials
- Ensure employee data is accurately entered and maintained in internal systems
- Use dashboards and reporting tools to track compliance status and workflow progress
- Verify that all submitted documentation aligns with company policies and regulatory standards
- Manage a high volume of follow-ups efficiently and within established timelines
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in HR administration, recruitment support, or document management
- Background in onboarding, employee records, or compliance tracking
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Professional and confident phone presence, with comfort making repeated outreach calls
- Organized approach to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with performance metrics
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and internal data systems
- Ability to work independently while adhering to structured processes
- Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps upload/download) with wired Ethernet capability
- Stable power backup to handle outages or load shedding
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time, adjusted for daylight saving)
- Willingness to work on both US and South African public holidays (SA holidays compensated per BCEA)
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with fixed working hours aligned to EST. Candidates must have a dedicated workspace with consistent internet connectivity and power support. The ideal candidate will be self-disciplined, process-driven, and able to thrive in a structured, compliance-focused setting.
