Horizon3.ai is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic partnership and operational support for our Engineering, Product, Design (EPD) and Go-to-Market (G&M) organizations. You will be responsible for organizational development, talent management, coaching, and employee relations, balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day People operations.
What You'll Do
- Partner with functional leaders across EPD and G&A to understand their business, organizational, and people opportunities.
- Provide strategic partnership and counsel to leaders and managers.
- Empower managers at all levels to take accountability for People needs and challenges.
- Support managers with insights and recommendations using an analytical and fact-based approach.
- Plan, drive, execute, and monitor the effectiveness of People solutions.
- Guide managers on organizational development and structure.
- Coach and cultivate managers through 1:1 interactions and scaled learning programs.
- Drive and hold managers accountable for key processes like feedback and performance reviews.
- Own performance management and the performance review strategy and process for the company.
- Partner with the People Ops team on performance review philosophy and content; own and manage the calibration process; hold talent reviews.
- Handle day-to-day People needs for supported organizations, including policy interpretation, counseling, and training.
- Manage employee relations issues, upholding company values and policies, including offboarding.
- Manage and handle internal investigations.
- Manage all leaves of absence.
- Contribute to the Manager Training Program, building both ongoing and new manager training.
- Create and deliver training content.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform key business decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 7-10+ years of HR experience.
- Deep understanding of partnering with various functions within a GTM organization (supporting more than one business unit as an HRBP).
- Significant experience partnering with globally distributed teams across time zones.
- Masterful project and change management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build trust with stakeholders by being open, transparent, and following through.
- Deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including employment laws, coaching, facilitation, performance management, and employee relations.
- Comfort navigating a fast-changing environment and managing change.
- Experience with facilitation.
Team & Environment
The People team is a growing team building the foundation. The HRBP function is scaling from a team of 1 to a leader plus 2 Sr. HRBPs. You will support H3's EPD and G&A organizations.
