Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain systems for organizing household items such as toys and craft supplies
- Perform daily tidying tasks and prepare the home for biweekly cleaning services
- Handle light cleaning including dishes, surface wiping, and vacuuming high-traffic zones
- Care for indoor plants with regular watering and maintenance
- Manage seasonal transitions by rotating clothing, home décor, and bedding
- Coordinate donations and prepare items for resale or charitable drop-off
- Assist with preparations for events, holidays, or guest visits
- Occasionally unpack after trips or travel
- Replace household essentials like batteries, light bulbs, and test smoke detectors
- Laundry care including washing, folding, and organizing clothes
- Provide special handling for delicate or high-maintenance garments
- Rotate linens such as hand towels and bed sheets for freshness
- Keep laundry spaces clean and orderly
- Manage pick-up and drop-off tasks for various services or errands
- Offer occasional supervision or backup child care support
- Prepare children’s backpacks, outfits, and snacks for daily activities
- Run errands related to children’s needs
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for kids, including washing and cutting produce
- Assemble school snacks twice weekly
- Conduct grocery shopping as required
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and personal food preferences
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and perform post-meal cleanup
- Contribute to household supply and grocery lists as needed
- Handle returns, dry cleaning, and occasional shopping trips
- Manage incoming mail and package deliveries
Compensation
$30–35 per hour
