The Parliamentary Digital Service and Real Property is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist. As an IT Support Professional, you are responsible for ensuring continuous functionality of computer systems, laptops, and equipment within the Parliamentary Network Infrastructure. Your core responsibilities involve providing technological support and troubleshooting services to Parliamentary users, including House Members, Officers, Administrative Staff, Legislative Library, Translation Bureau, and associated entities. You will prioritize and resolve technical challenges through the Incident Management Tracking System, addressing hardware, software, and database issues promptly via onsite visits, telephone, and electronic communication. Your role requires analyzing complex technical scenarios, offering strategic consultations, and recommending optimal resolution strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members on multifaceted projects and coordinate with service providers for equipment repairs and replacements. The Parliamentary standard technical environment encompasses Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office 2010, 2019, and 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Apple & Android devices utilizing Intune, alongside remote management tools like SCCM, SMS, and Active Directory Group policies. The operational requirement mandates consistent in-office presence five days weekly.
