Blockworks is looking for a Host to lead and help produce our tentpole crypto-focused podcast. You will be the face, voice, and thought leader of this brand, driving the show's audience growth and impact through exceptional content and authentic engagement.

What You'll Do

Host, plan, script, and record two podcast episodes per week.
Design and develop content and themes for the series and individual episodes, informed by crypto and macro industry news.
Proactively identify, source, and secure podcast guests with untapped potential for exceptional stories.
Partner with the editorial team to write contributions to the newsletter.
Leverage personal and professional social channels to grow the audience through content and authentic marketing.
Collaborate with the sales team to build new sponsorship areas and strengthen relationships with current sponsors.
Work with the production team to understand audience segments and uncover insights to stimulate engagement and content evolution.
Represent the show at in-person events like listener meet-ups, hackathons, and Blockworks conferences to grow the brand.

What We're Looking For

Crypto native with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture and related ecosystems/networks.
Demonstrated success hosting or producing crypto content for podcasts, webinars, blogs, or other reporting.
Experience interviewing technical experts and driving substantive discussions.
Ability to discern compelling stories and find engaging content.
Proven historical success at growing an audience and following.

Nice to Have

Exceptionally deep understanding of the blockchain scaling landscape with a creative approach to discussions.
Published technical analysis or research in the blockchain space.
Experience with live broadcasting or real-time technical discussions.
Built relationships within the blockchain infrastructure community.
Demonstrated thought leadership in blockchain scaling solutions.
Prior experience in technical podcast hosting or production.
Background in media, especially on camera.
Outstanding ability to interview guests and honed instincts for digging deeper while making guests comfortable.
