Azurity Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to join our team serving the St Louis West, MO territory. You will develop and execute a strategic business plan to build relationships with key decision-makers in hospital settings, communicating complex clinical messages to drive sales growth for our patient-centric products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area.
- Target, penetrate, and establish a network with key hospital decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Call on physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in settings like physician offices, hospital pharmacies, OR, and ICU.
- Communicate clear, complex clinical messages in real-time situations.
- Use data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage and track territory-specific information through a CRM system.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- Demonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territory.
- Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong business acumen and comprehension of difficult clinical information.
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers.
- Excellent organization, time management, and outstanding oral/written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including virtual engagement.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool (Veeva, Salesforce).
- Independent worker who can also collaborate within a team.
- Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
- Ability to travel as needed for the territory, including air travel.
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill & Injectable product experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Hospital Sales/Account Based Selling experience, including familiarity with the P&T/Formulary process.
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
