Azurity Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist based in Seattle, WA. You will develop and execute strategic plans to build a network of relationships with key decision-makers across healthcare settings. The role focuses on communicating complex clinical information to attain sales goals while driving growth for patient-centric products in underserved markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to target, penetrate, and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists across multiple medical subspecialties in settings like physician offices, hospital pharmacies, OR, and ICU.
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations and utilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage and track territory-specific information through a CRM system.
- Travel as needed for the territory, including air travel.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- Demonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territory.
- Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Business acumen and strong comprehension of difficult clinical information.
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
- Excellent organization, time management, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and virtual engagement skills.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool (i.e., Veeva, Salesforce).
- Independent, with an ability to work within a team.
- Strong Leadership Skills.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill & Injectable product Experience.
- Oncology Experience.
- Hospital Sales/Account Based Selling Experience – familiarity with P&T/Formulary process.
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
