Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist based in Miami, FL. In this role, you will create and execute strategic plans to build relationships with key decision-makers and drive sales growth across a wide geographical area. You will engage with a diverse range of healthcare professionals in various medical settings to advance our mission of benefiting patients.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to target, penetrate, and establish a network with key stakeholders.
- Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists across multiple medical subspecialties.
- Visit call points including physician offices, hospital pharmacies, OR, and ICU.
- Clearly communicate complex clinical information in real-time situations.
- Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage territory-specific information through a CRM system.
- Travel as needed for the territory, including air travel.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- Demonstrated sales growth while managing your own territory.
- Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Business acumen and strong comprehension of complex clinical information.
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers.
- Excellent organization, time management, and outstanding communication skills.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and virtual engagement skills.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool (i.e., Veeva, Salesforce).
- Independent worker who can also function within a team.
- Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill & Injectable product experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Hospital sales/account-based selling experience, including familiarity with the P&T/formulary process.
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
