Azurity Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to serve the Fort Worth, TX area. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic business plans across a wide geographical territory to build relationships with key healthcare decision makers and meet sales objectives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to target, penetrate, and establish a network with key decision makers.
- Call on a range of medical professionals across multiple subspecialties at points including physician offices, hospital pharmacies, OR, and ICU.
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations.
- Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage and track territory-specific information through a CRM system.
- Travel as needed for the territory, which will include air travel.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- Demonstrated sales growth while managing your own territory.
- Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Business acumen and strong comprehension of difficult clinical information.
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real time.
- Excellent organization, time management, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including virtual engagement.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool like Veeva or Salesforce.
- Independent, with an ability to work within a team.
- Strong Leadership Skills.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
- Must be able to sit for long periods, frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- May occasionally climb stairs or ride elevators.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to manipulate a keyboard, operate a telephone, and hand-held devices.
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill & Injectable product Experience.
- Oncology Experience.
- Hospital Sales/Account Based Selling Experience – familiarity with P&T/Formulary process.
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
