Perform thorough on-site evaluations of properties to determine repair needs and overall condition as part of the acquisition due diligence process. Deliver accurate, well-documented reports complete with photographs to inform repair planning and budgeting.
What You'll Do
- Inspect homes daily to monitor renovation progress and verify completion of punch-list items
- Capture detailed images throughout the construction process and include them in comprehensive reports
- Support field operations by fulfilling requests from construction and settlement teams
- Install and remove lockboxes and marketing materials as needed
- Transport tools and equipment to properties when required
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Be proficient with computers and digital reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensure as a Home Inspector in Maryland, Washington D.C., or Virginia is preferred but not mandatory
