Responsibilities

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Follow company policies and protocols, particularly those related to health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Stay informed about transport department operations and procedures.
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
  • Manage personal work schedule in compliance with the Road Transport Directive.
  • Comply with tachograph regulations during all driving activities.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections according to company standards.
  • Oversee the condition and operation of the unit and trailer, including monitoring temperature levels.
  • Deliver goods to customer locations while demonstrating professionalism.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage of £15.36
  • Eligibility for an annual bonus based on performance, including recognition in the Driver of the Year program

On-site — Markham Vale

Other

  • Shift pattern: Choose any 2, 3, or 4 days per week with start times between 02:00 and 07:00.
  • Occasional requirement to begin shifts from the Markham Vale location.
  • Daily vehicle inspections must be carried out as per company procedure.
  • Accountable for the unit and trailer, including conducting temperature checks.
  • Perform deliveries to customer sites while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Always follow tachograph rules and regulations.
  • Efficiently manage personal working hours in accordance with the Road Transport Directive.
