Culina Group is hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Responsibilities

  • General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores
  • Collections from Stores to load out to Factories and Distribution Centres
  • Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cages
  • Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
  • Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
  • Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation

Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 licence
  • Must be able to work nights
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday nights with potential weekend work based on business demand
  • Must adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation

Nice to Have

  • Flexibility in shift patterns – open to discussing alternative start times if standard ones don’t suit availability

Benefits

  • Increased pay rates ranging from £15.80 to £18.41 per hour depending on shift
  • £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance
  • £25 night out allowance

  • Shifts typically start between 16:00 and 19:00
  • Weekend working may be required in line with business demand
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £15.80 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.10 per hour
  • Bank Holidays - £18.41 per hour
  • Role is full time and permanent
