Responsibilities
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes while complying with Working Time Directive and drivers’ hours regulations
- Operate and manage equipment according to training, following proper sign-in and sign-out protocols to maintain legal standards
- Secure all pallets and cargo using appropriate load restraint straps
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the transport team and other depot locations
- Adhere to scheduled arrival and departure times for retailers, completing deliveries and pickups within designated timeframes and ensuring all delivery documents and goods are properly signed and uploaded via the in-cab tablet
- Submit a completed timesheet, delivery paperwork, and report any equipment issues to the admin team at the end of each shift
- Notify relevant personnel of any potential disruptions or deviations from the planned route or schedule
- Coordinate with delivery personnel to resolve any discrepancies before proceeding to the next stop
- Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with the driver training team to improve fuel efficiency and meet evolving driving performance standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and trailer to uphold the company's professional appearance

Responsibilities
- Optimising all routes and adherence of WTD and drivers’ hours legislation
- Controlling equipment through training received and sign in / sign out procedure, ensuring legal compliance
- Ensuring all pallets / loads are secured using loads straps
- Effectively communicating with the Transport team and other depots
- Ensuring retailer arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries and collections are made within the specified windows and all delivery documentation / goods are signed for and uploaded using the in cab tablet
- Providing the admin team at end of shift with a completed timesheet, completed delivery paperwork and advising of any equipment defects
- Communicating any potential failures or changes to the original plan
- Liaising with delivery staff to ensure any discrepancies on the delivery are identified before moving on to the next delivery / collection
- Ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported
- Working with the driver training & development team to maximise fuel MPG and continuous improvement of Microlise driving standards / techniques
- Managing vehicle and trailer cleanliness ensuring that the company’s corporate image is maintained at all time

- Shift patterns: Monday-Friday Days, Sunday-Wednesday Days, Thursday-Saturday or Thursday-Sunday Days
- Working hours include nights (18:00-03:59) 7 nights a week
- Must adhere to WTD and drivers’ hours legislation
- Responsible for vehicle and trailer cleanliness
- Must use in-cab tablet for uploading delivery documentation
